Septum The Power Statement
The septum is one of the fastest-healing facial piercings and among the boldest. Properly placed, it transforms a face. And it can be completely hidden by flipping the jewelry inside the nose.

How We
Approach This
The septum piercing passes through the 'sweet spot' — the thin strip of skin at the base of the septum, beneath the cartilage. A properly placed septum piercing does not go through cartilage at all, which is why it heals so quickly. Our artists take time to locate this sweet spot precisely, as placement error is the number-one cause of pain and healing difficulties. The ability to flip the jewelry inside the nose makes this the most discreet bold piercing available.
Sweet Spot Precision
We never rush locating the sweet spot. Correct placement = no cartilage = less pain and faster healing.
Fully Concealable
A horseshoe barbell can be flipped upward inside the nostrils — completely invisible in professional settings.
Rapid Healer
Placed correctly through soft tissue, septum piercings often heal fully in just 6–8 weeks.
Step by Step
A transparent, clinical process — no surprises.

Sweet Spot Location
The single most important step. We gently locate the thin tissue at the base of the septum and confirm the ideal entry point.
- Sterile single-use needle
- Client-approved marking
- Implant-grade starter jewelry

Clamp & Mark
A receiving tube or forceps is used to stabilize the tissue. The needle passes through quickly and smoothly.

Circular Barbell Placement
A horseshoe circular barbell is inserted and fitted. We demonstrate how to flip it for concealment before you leave.
- Sterile single-use needle

What We
Put In You
We exclusively use implant-grade materials. Below are the typical starter jewelry options for your Septum piercing.
Healing Instructions
- Saline spray into each nostril twice daily
- Blow your nose gently — do not put pressure on the piercing
- Avoid flipping the jewelry excessively during healing
- Do not use nasal sprays unless medically necessary
- Avoid swimming for 4 weeks
- If the jewelry seems too tight or too loose, see us — do not adjust yourself
- Most clients are healed enough to change jewelry at 8 weeks
Septum FAQ
Does it hurt to pierce through the cartilage?
We don't pierce through cartilage. The sweet spot is thin skin tissue — significantly less painful than cartilage piercings.
Can I hide this at work?
Yes entirely. A horseshoe barbell can be flipped fully inside the nostrils and is not visible externally.
My septum is deviated — can I still get this piercing?
Often yes, with adjusted angle placement. We assess each septum individually during consultation.
