Daith The Inner Circle
The daith is nestled within the innermost fold of the ear cartilage, directly above the ear canal opening. It is one of the most visually intricate placements available.

How We
Approach This
The daith presents a unique technical challenge: it must be pierced from the inside out through the curved inner ear fold, meaning visibility is limited and angle control is critical. Our piercers use curved needles and specialized receiving tubes to navigate this confined space. A properly placed daith will sit perfectly inside the fold with the jewelry seemingly 'floating' within the ear. Seamless clicker rings are the signature daith jewelry.
Confined Space Technique
The daith requires specialized curved needle technique to access the tight inner fold safely.
Clicker Ring Fit
We select the exact ring diameter to follow your inner helix curve — neither too tight nor too loose.
Moderate Healing
Despite being cartilage, the daith often heals faster than the rook due to its more favorable tissue composition.
Step by Step
A transparent, clinical process — no surprises.

Inner Ear Assessment
We examine the depth and curvature of your inner helix fold to determine the correct ring diameter and needle path.
- Sterile single-use needle
- Client-approved marking
- Implant-grade starter jewelry

Curved Needle Navigation
A curved needle passes from the outer to inner surface of the fold in a single controlled motion. The confined space requires a calm, experienced hand.

Seamless Ring Fitting
A hinged seamless clicker ring or circular barbell is placed immediately. We confirm the ring diameter fits the fold snugly but comfortably.

What We
Put In You
We exclusively use implant-grade materials. Below are the typical starter jewelry options for your Daith piercing.
Healing Instructions
- Saline spray into the inner ear fold — ensure coverage of both surfaces
- The inner ear traps moisture — ensure thorough drying after cleaning
- Do not sleep on the pierced side — inner ear pressure is highly irritating
- Avoid inserting anything into the ear canal near the piercing
- Do not change jewelry before 9 months minimum
- Crusties around a clicker ring are normal — soften with saline spray
- Your 6-week check-in is complimentary — please attend
Daith FAQ
Does the daith help with migraines?
We can speak only to the piercing itself. There is anecdotal discussion around this, but we do not make medical claims.
Why does my daith piercing look different from photos online?
The daith's appearance varies greatly depending on individual ear anatomy — the fold depth and curve determine how the ring sits.
Can I wear earphones with a healing daith?
Over-ear headphones only. Nothing should enter the ear canal near the piercing during the healing period.
